The mission of the Crossroads Ballet  Festival is to help maintain and expand the presence of classical ballet in Kansas City and the surrounding region.

Our goal is to raise awareness about the joys of dance through our summer gala and our outreach program, Show Me Ballet.

Our performances will combine the nationally recognized talents of our local dancers with dancers from other world class ballet companies.  We at the Crossroads Ballet  Festival feel that Kansas City is the perfect place for these artists to collaborate, as Kansas City is the crossroads of the country.

Further, we feel that because the Crossroads Ballet Festival will occur in the summer when there is little to no dance represented in Kansas City, we are able to provide exposure to audiences who may in turn become supporters of other dance companies in the region.

The Crossroads Ballet Festival is entirely comprised of individuals who support this mission.
